Archaeological Biblical Confirmations

Over the last 25 years as evolutionists have run out of creative means to disguise their lies, they have since shifted their attacks toward the creditability of the Bible. And time after time, God has demonstrated the ignorances of men whom think they can outsmart God.

Due to the enormous number of events that the Bible has documented over the last 4,400 years, it would be impossible to attempt to try and prove every single one, however, it is important to highlight some of those archaeological finds that have confirmed Biblical history.

In the 1970's archaeologists discovered the "Elba" archive in northern Syria, which offered verification to the writings of the lives of the pre-flood patriarchs. These writings were to be 4,300 years old placing their origin right after the flood and about the time the book of Job was written. Furthermore, the writings verified the many personal and place names mentioned in Genesis and other Old Testament books that were, prior to this discovery, thought to be mythical in their nature.

For example, the name "Canaan" was in use in Elba, a name skeptics once said was not used that early and was therefore used incorrectly in the early chapters of the Bible. The word "tehom" in Genesis was said to be a word used in much later civilizations thus they argued that Genesis must have been written much later then the time of Moses. This newly discovered "Elba archive" referred to the word "tehom" as a normal word in their vocabulary, which, of course, proved it's usage some 800 years before Moses. Ancient customs spoken of by the patriarchs have also been discovered in clay tablets from Nuzi and Mari.

The Hittites were also promoted as just another one of those Biblical legends until their capital and records were discovered in Bogazkoy, Turkey. Moreover, evolutionists claimed there was no Assyrian king named Sargon as recorded in Isaiah 20:1 because the name was not known in any other records. The Sargon's palace was discovered in Khorsabad, Iraq. In fact, the very event spoken of in Isaiah 20, his capture of Ashod, was recorded on the newly discovered palace walls. If that's not confirmation enough, fragments of a stela memorializing this victory were found at Ashdod itself.

Evolutionary archaeologists also used to scoff about a Babylonian king the book of Daniel spoke of named, Belshazzar. At one point, secular history recorded the last Babylonian king to be Nabonidus, however, tablets were discovered showing that Nabonidus had a son named Belshazzar who served as coregent. This, of course, gave him the power to make Daniel the third highest ruler of the kingdom as recorded in the book of Daniel.

Creation application: Here is a small sample of the Bible's "eyewitness" reports that so many questioned only to later learn the Bible was accurate. In fact, for nearly 4,300 years scoffers have existed yet only to be proven wrong every time. A book written by chance over such a long period of time based on man's fallible ideas would have no chance in standing up to the level of scrutiny and for so long like the Bible has. At what point will they recognize it was divinely inspired?
